Being a Meet and Greet volunteer is a fun and important role that can really make a passengers day. As a volunteer you will be their to help passengers with any questions they might have, such as tourist information and directions.

Staircase to the Moon – 2025

This natural phenomenon occurs when a full moon rises over the exposed tidal flats of Roebuck Bay, as the moon shines down on the water it creates a breath taking view. Certain dates will have night markets at Town Beach for people to enjoy some local food, and shop for some souvenirs.

Popular spots to view the Staircase to the Moon is at Town Beach and The Mangrove Hotel.

Shinju Matsuri Festival –  2026 festival dates to be announced.

Otherwise known as the ‘Festival of the Pearl’ this two week event brings together Broome’s cultural history. Through a variety of events at multiple locations, this event brings the people of Broome together, as well as people from around the world.

Over at Cable Beach you won’t be far from the beautiful beach itself, so if you want to do some beach activities this is the spot for you. Plus their are plenty of dining spots for every occasion. 

At town beach you can enjoy the distinct changes in landscape as the tide changes over the mangroves. With bars, restaurants and cafes close by this is another great option.
